JETSKI REQUIREMENTS (PLEASE READ PRIOR TO BOOKING)

(AGE, WEIGHT LIMIT, ENGLISH, SWIMMING + MEDICAL CONDITIONS)

AGE

Our minimum age to be a passenger on a jetski with an adult (18+) is 6 years old.

16 and 17 year olds can ride on their own (we do need to sight proof of age, eg. school ID, licence, or passport) but they can NOT ride with another under age passenger, we require a guardian to be present at the time of hiring to complete the rental agreement (including ID and Visa/Mastercard).

WEIGHT

Please note our skis have a weight restriction, this is to protect you and the equipment. 

The maximum combined weight of 2 people is 160kg.

The maximum weight for a single rider is 120kg.

These limits are subject to our approval depending on conditions, these limits are in place due to our insurance.

ENGLISH

A thorough understanding and use of English is required. Legally we need you to understand our briefing and what our contract contains. If we can not have a conversation with you in English, you will not be allowed to ride. By booking you are confirming you have a good level of English and if we can not converse with you easily, you will not be refunded. 

SWIMMING

You need to be able to swim and you need to be a competent and confident swimmer. By booking you are confirming you are and if you are not, you will not be refunded. 

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

By booking online you confirm that you have no pre existing medical conditions that would affect your hire (bad back, bad eyes, etc), you also confirm that you are not pregnant and will not be intoxicated (must have a 0 alcohol reading) at the time of riding. Refunds will not be available when failing to confirm the above. 

Failing to acknowledge these restrictions will make the booking ineligible for refund.

OUR HIRES

All our hires start with a land briefing, this is where you fill out your details and sign our contract. From here we're ready to head down to the water,  we gear you up in life jackets and if you have hired a go pro we will walk you through our recommendations on how to use it. Once in the water we touch on the basics of riding, we show you the gears and then you're climbing aboard (this is a great time for us to snap some photos if you have a camera, phone or go pro with you). After a quick demo around our training bubble you're heading out into our 2km square hire area inside Horseshoe Bay. 

What we supply:

Life jackets.

Sunblock.

Waterproof bags for you to take small personal belongings out with you (phones + cameras). There is a glove box on the jetski which is water resistant for you to place belongings in.

Watches - each ski has a watch to keep track of time. 

Storage of personal belongings (backpacks, etc)

What to bring:

Drivers licence, 18+ card, or Passport and a Credit Card (Visa/Mastercard), no deposit is withheld and the card will only be charged in the event of an incident.

Bring whatever you’re comfortable to get wet in, we do recommend board shorts and a rashie for sun protection. 

Sunglasses and hats (own risk, we will give you some advice on keeping them safe).

You are welcome to take a phone or camera out on the ski with you, we're happy to take some photos for you on your own device before you head out.

Come ready to go with sunscreen applied. 

Bring a towel for after your hire.

Sharing:

We allow the following combinations of passengers for 30 minutes.

2 adults (can ride together or swap the ski over at half time).

1 adult + 1 child.

1 adult + 2 children (depending on size small children may ride at the same time or we may advise you do a 15 minute swap out).

Please note when booking this product:

We require information for all passengers at the time of booking, please make sure your booking form has the correct and relevant information. 

Our skis are commercially registered and there are laws you need to follow while hiring. By booking online you acknowledge you will follow rules explained to you during the brief. A major law that affects our hirers is the 200 metre distance you need to stay from everything, this includes other jetskis so if you're part of a big group, book knowing you have to keep your distance from each other, at no stage can you get close. Safety is our biggest priority and we have no tolerance on this law.
